This is the programme of Rajiv Youth Foundation to help poor people to get medical aid.Under this programme,this year also we conducted medical camps in various places.It includes General Medical Camps,Speciality Medical camps,Cancer Detection Camps,Heart Surgery Camps etc.In these camps we did not charge any registration feeand the treatment and medicine distribution were at free of cost.We conduct Heart disease detection camps as part of our programme ‘Hrydayapoorvam’ and provide financial and other assistance to two poor patients to conduct their surgery successfully.
Family Self Help Project was launched on 22 nd August 2005 with an objective of empowreing the weaker sections of the society economically through the formation of self help groups and starting microfinance through them.Launched by Shri K.C.Venugopal, Minister for Tourism on 20th August 2005 Activiteis Rajiv Youth Foundation distributed ONAM kit to HIV+ People of Prathyasha kendram TRYF Donated 200 chair to Taluk Hospital,Tirur. RYF provided free Medical AID to Two Hospitalized persons. Medicines worth Rs 25,000 were given to the Pain and palliative Clinic, Manjeri on 25th August 2004 . Medicines worth Rs 15,000 were given to the IMB, Manjeri . Rupees 1,19,623/ was donated to the Chairman’s charity funds of Malappuram Municipality for Charity as well free treatment for the poor Medical Camp for the CHICKUN GUNIYA affected was conducted at Poroor, on 22nd June 2006 in which 5 expert doctors attended and medicines worth 1.5 lakhs distributed Objectives To provide quality medi-care services to the poor including supply of medicines free of cost Rajiv Youth Foundation distributed ONAM kit to HIV+ People of Prathyasha kendram.
