The number of Keralites in the list of winners of Civil Services is very less being consider the fact that Kerala is the most literate and one of the most developed states in the country. Through a serious approach we can make more students pass the examination. This project aims to provide the most relevant and comprehensive coaching to the Civil Services aspirants by considering all the parameters in this regard. We identify most talented students through entrance test and we arrange the scholarship (fully free to few and 25 to 75 % of Course fee to others) to the eligible candidates with the help of organizations and individuals. So that we can ensure no body is missing the opportunity to get good guidance due to financial crisis and lack of good coaching centers in nearby places. Catch Them Young Civil Service Programme is a programme we are implementing in association with INSPIRIT IAS Academy. The aim of this programme is to identify and groom the talents at their respective schools in a systamati and cost effective manner. ‘Catch Them Young’ Programme

‘Catch Them Young’ is a flagship program by Rajiv Gandhi Centre For Excellence in association with INSPIRIT IAS Academy is to identify the sprouting young talents of Kerala right from the schools and guide them to crack IAS examination in their first attempt. We consider this program as our tribute to the nation and its people–the makers of the largest democracy,to endow with resourceful and proficient administrators.

Significance of a civil service training program at school level.

Success in IAS examination depends more on the right aptitude and attitude of students. It will very easy to impart these kinds of attitude and aptitude to a talented student at younger ages and it will become near impossible as one gets older. Mode of operation

The project planned in association with INSPIRIT is to include all possible avenues available in the state where you can identify and train the talented young aspirants. The program include three stages
Creating awareness and bursting of myths about civil service

The students will be informed and invited to an orientation session organized in the school premises, where the students will get proper guidance and orientation on civil service examination.
Students from different age group ranging from 12-16 years can attend the session.

Training

The students from different age groups will be trained using study materials and syllabus exclusively prepared for their respective categories under the guidance of eminent academicians, retired and serving IAS officersthe training will ensure competence of the students in IAS examination and all other competitive examinations. Classes will be handled by eminent faculties, retired and working civil service officers. Through simple and uncomplicated methods of learning all the basic concepts the General Knowledge of students will be improved dramatically.

രാജീവ് ഗാന്ധി സിവില്‍ സര്‍വ്വീസ് അക്കാദമി
